About a months and a half ago, I saw some white patches on my fish's pectoral fins, i saw a post with the same thing and the person cleared it away by using salt, so u added api salt to the aquarium and the white patch on the right pectoral fin went away but the worser left side stayed (it was alot thicker but wasn't fuzzy more slime like), fast forward around a month later of salt, it didn't changed so i used waterlife protozin (anti whitspot and fungus) and followed the course it started to get better alittle, so i waited 48 hours (i do a 30% to 40% water changer every otherday) and did a second course, half way through the second course the fish started to spit out food. (she has done this before and won't eat for a few days but then would start eating again)

Once the second course was done and a few days of not eating the left fins was back normal, but she hasn't really ate anything in 2 weeks , apart for the 2 time she ate a small piece off shrimp/pawn. After 3 days of not eating I began to worry, I waited a few days to see if she would start eating but nothing. I would drop the food in and she would ignore it like it wasnt there. (Normally she would know it was feeding time, would see me raise her dorsal fin into attack mode and would literally go to the top of the tank where i would normally drop the food and as soon as the food touched the water she would gobble it down)

I started to think it might be internal parasite/HiTH as she always had a white circle on her head (treated with waterlife octozin before but it didnt so away or get worse) so I gave her the octozin on the second day she did a white stringy poop and that was the first time she had a little food i finished the 3 day course but she would eat and around this time she would stay in one spot for a few seconds to a minute which is very strange for a paroon shark and it seemed like she was also had rapid breathing so i added another air pump and air stone that stop her from gasping for a few days.

Around this time I remember this looked alot like what happened to another fish I had in the tank was orded at the same time as the paroon shark but the supplier said it wasn't strong strong enought to deliver, about 2 to 3 weeks later I recieved the other fish, it would not eat and stayed in corner after 2 week it dead but near the end of its life it would splaz out, then just lay there and float in the water and splaz out again. I didnt really think nothing off it, just that the transport was too much for (I still felt really sad for the fish in its finally days and had to make someone else dig its grave in the garden) now my thought is that my paroon shark will die soon, just like the other fish but it dead in March 5 months ago but my paroon shark is acting like how the other fish was acting. I have started to treat the tank with NT Labs Anit-internal bacteria yesterday, but she has white fuzzy patches on her head and the top part of the body around the dorsal fin, also thick white stuff on her pectoral fins worser than before and half of her left eye has a semi-transparent film on it, she also flicks every now and then, sometimes it is very minor other times its like she been hit my lightning, these symptoms has happened in a day or 2 before I used the anti-internal bacteria.

Im at my wits end and I can't loose her it be too much for me. Could it be the copper stressed her immune system and let an underlying disease go rampant? Could she have the same thing as the other fish from 5 months ago? I do a 30% to 40% water every other day as my tap water is at 20ppm of nitrate, previously it would reach 40 to 50ppm in 2 days, checked with a NT labs freshwater test kit. Also before i gave her the the fungus treatment she use to poop brown bricks.

Could be from the copper and now has some underlying disease. You gotta check the copper level when dosing. Keep the nitrates down to 20ppm. Try and get it to eat. Soak the food in garlic. Post some pics.

Hi I have seachem garlic guard and have tried to soak food in it to try to get her off shrimps in the past but she just ignores it, even when I soaked the shrimp in garlic. I use raw frozen shrimp and let it defrost in the refrigerator soaked in some vita-chem. It is midnight here in the UK I try to get a some photo tommorow as my phone camera is utter garage and I can get a family member with better camera quailty.

Try some silver sides and mix with garlic and soaked in some vitachem (or equivalent). How much shrimp makes up the diet? Diet with lots of shrimp isn’t the best.

100% is shrimps, she use to eat some New Life Spectrum when smaller but started to ignore it, after added shrimp to the diet. Here are some pictures of her, hard to take as she keeps moving. I coudn't find any silver sides in the super market so ihave ordered them online for tarked next day delivery also some Hikari pellets aswell. From some of the picture you can tell she has some whitish growth on her fins.

She did go for the silver sides but it was too big and couldn't get it down so spat it out and added smaller pieces but she ignored them. I did a water change and will try again later on today near her old eating time, hopefully that will work.

She did eat one small piece of silver sides but about a few hours later spat it out, also there is redness near the base of her fins and her underside near the anal finn. I gave her some anti-internal bacteria thinking it might be some sort of blood infection.
