thinkin of making a 200gl tank ... thoughts please

just got back from home depot they have every thing i need plexi glass is too thin i thnk .220 how thick should it be and how thick should the plywood be i was lookin at 19/32
 
i have a couple questions if anyone doesnt mind answering like what should the thickness of the acrylic i was this 1/2 but i duno its 200 gl
 
OSB is Just a step up from particle board, apart from water not being very freindly to it yeah I know it will be epoxied but stuff happens, Go with at least a seven ply exterior grade plywood, an ACx grade will have less interior voids and be stronger, Plywood and OSB for that matter are oriented to be stiffest or strongest in the longest direction. Glad you liked it. I see from looking around on this site folk are also fiberglassing the insides. I went with three or four coats of water tank epoxy form sherwin williams I think the two parts one gallon each cost about $100 each. I built a 100 and a 200 gallon with that with a little to spare. I pretty much followed the link I gave you above. I went with a glass front about half the cost but heavy! MMine have been setup December.

im getting more into it and more into as the day goes buy called a glass piece and i can get an 82 x 21 1/4 3/8 temp glass for 165
 
ive read alot of people useing GARF and thats just what i was goin on y would this be not durable enough?
