ok since i cant do weekly water change i was thinkin of making a DIY sypon thing to trap debris but reuse the water. any ideas on how to do this?

yes but i cant put on another filter. and this way i can sypon out the crap everyday and reuse the water so its a win win situation for me and my grandoarents

Canister filter or battery operated vacuum? Maybe plastic tube with mesh filter at one end followed by inlet of a pump and so tube sucks up water with use of the pump inlet and the outlet of the pump aim at the tank.

^ was a great demenstration but if you do not have a powerhead or extra pump, Siphon poo out to a bucket, poor back the water through a fine net(white one) to catch the poo.
just came to me! a sock and rubberband! put a sock at the end of the hose and debris will get trapped in there! and DANG the sock is dirty after the first time!
