It would be the Temensis I would worry about getting killed-delicate when small compared to a Jag or Red Devil. I grew out my Tem. first and by itself-right now it shares space with a Ocellaris and a Jaguar.

exactly....

i wouldnt throw babies into my pond they wouldnt last 30 seconds. if nothing else got to them i have a goldfish that eats meat and fights with my red devils over large chunks of raw meat that would beat the hell out of them. i have a couple tanks more than just the pond ;) plus i have a couple more ponds ;)

30 inches wow-but I personally think that is not the norm-spoke to Rapps and others before I got my and they told me the average is 28 inches.

LOL.....two inches difference really doesn't matter! Anything over 20 inches is a beast!!

anything over 20" especially active fish command attention.

Haha, 28 inches is the largest one I have seen kept in a tank...
24" is more like the norm on here.

No I agree my Bass are grumps at time at that size does demand respect-but I would think that any fish 14 inches would be okay especially a Red Devil, Trimac, or Jag.

Atleast in my experience the aggressive cichlids I have ignore the Bass. The only time my other fish cower in the corner of the tank is when I feed them feeders-those Bass get crazy!!
