I have a empty 55g tank that I would like to put some Afra in. They are such cool looking cichlids! I have sand and a bunch of rocks. None of the LFS carry them, looking for advice on them, and maybe some care tips? Thanks!

I don't know much about them but I do know they're pretty hard to find in the hobby. I believe caring for them is much like how you care for any other cynotilapia species, by feeding them food for omnivores (since they're omnivores) and keeping the temp at around 78 or 80 degrees.

I did find an article on the internet that may help you also, http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/c_afra_cobwe.php

I recently got 3 cobue and they have adjusted very well to the tank. Temps running 81 n pH a little over 8. they get along well with my other mbuna and the dominant cobue is the boss of the tank
