iwas thinking a bout trading in some of my CAC for a jardini. can any one tell me if they would be alright with 2 oscars in a 250 or 180. if that does not work will it work with 1 possibly 2 jags in a 250 or 180. i am good with water changes so i am more worried with aggression than water quality. also what to feed it and what is the minimum tank size if i decide i want a specie tank.(unlikely) pleez keep in mind that i havnt done this yet and still deciding if i should get one:) :) :)

just try it

but all the stories ive heard is that they are very intolerant of other fish in there tank especially aggreaaive cichlids
but if it works let me know because i have basically the same setup as you
:D

ty for the kwik reply xxx i probably will do it (if i decide to) in a couple months when i move and have the right tanks so it will be a while before i actually try it.also wat iz a good jardini sale site and how much iz ther shipping?

hey what's up man i had a jardini a couple years ago grow him till he was 19 inches give or take and throught out that time he killed a common oscar a red oscar and two yellow oscar i put in with him he absolutely hated them torn them up quick first the oscars all ways started it with him and he would take it for a few days and then thrash them in my exsperince my jardini hated fish that swim all spastic and crazy fast all over the tank he also killed a gar a silver arow a fire eel and a same size koi i had with him he liked the koi for a while and they swam around togethere and then i gues he just got sick of it. the only fish he diddn't kill or even touch in a violent way was a black ghost knife and the ghost knife i put in with him when it was about 4 inches maybe 5 and the jar was about 11 so he could of when ever he liked it thow. They allways swam around together real nice like when the ghost was out of it's viewing tube maybe that's why he diddn't mind him because it was usually not bothering him it was in it's tube and only came out to feed and to say hi and then back in but the oscars no way man. Well that's all i have to say good luck with that mean son of a. But deffenitly get one they are amazing fish.

Sincerely
