Why don't just go big for 8x3 instead. Since you only gonna keep 1 fish, go for monsters. Payara, African Tiger, Wolf fish, etc. Fun feeding predators

I already have a long nose gar, a couple oscars and a guppy tank. so im on the fence about another predator fish since I have the gar and oscars. I just want something colorful and native so it seems the best option is to go with some kind of sunfish
