Hello,

My gibbisceps recently passed, and I've shuffled some stock, and now I want another pleco. I'm planning on adding one to my 75 gallon angelfish tank. The tank is slightly overstocked but also over filtered with an emperor 400 and penguin 350.

The stock is 7 angelfish, 3.5" long, and 6-8" tall and 3 stunted severums. The two small stunted fish are 3" and 1" and the large one is 7". I'm careful never to overfeed, and there isn't much organic matter in the tank. With weekly water changes of 50% and a fasting day beforehand, nitrates consistently stay at 20-30 ppm.

Anyway, I would like a pleco that will get some size and some color. I'm fond of royals, but do you have any other suggestions?

What about a titanic pleco? I love their body shape. Guides I'm reading says that since they aren't too active a 90 gallon would suffice. Could I pull it off in a 75 gallon Because it has the same footprint?
