I am pretty confident in my abilities to put people on fish any day, any time of the year. I can also offer eco tours featuring gators, bald eagles and other wildlife.

I can take clients fishing up in the back water rivers, the bay and sound, and out in the Gulf and most spots we can be on the water in less than thirty minutes from their hotel. I would pick up the clients from their hotel and take them to the launch site.

My main question, how much would YOU pay per hour to have some one take you fishing on a kayak? Your boat, safety gear, fishing gear and soft drinks/water will be provided.

Any input would be appreciated.

I would think $200 to $300 for say a 4-5 trip seems fair...
That being said, do I get a discount for being the first reply? LOL
Sounds like a great business idea. Good luck!

That is what I was thinking, something in the forty to sixty dollar an hr range. I will have at least four boats so it would be just ten to fifteen per hr per person.

And yes, I will give you a free trip if you are ever down this way, Im near Destin, FL.

Im west of Destin In Navarre so you can stay in Navarre or east to Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa Island and Destin or west to Pensacola Beach and still be within thirty minutes of me.

I also have a seventeen ft offshore boat but I cant legally guide from it but I always enjoy taking new people out.

That job would be amazing. I do alot of Kayak fishing in the cold water lakes of Saskatchewan Canada. I just love the challenge and feeling you get from kayak fishing. i would forsure pay 40$ an hour for an afternoon of guided fishing somewhere else.

Well you can use for reference on prices Captain Linda out of PCB who does guided kayak trips. http://www.captlinda.com/ Shes doing about 150 for the first angler for 4-5 hours then 100 for any other angler after.

I do kayak tour in the mangroves and Everglades $ 40 a head for Eco tour and 60 and a little higher for fishing all over south Florida there is some where around ten people who do tours in broward alone
