Thinking about buying a Liger..

don't worry about the size of your dog kennel; its common knowledge that Ligers only grow to the size of their enclosure. cat chow is fine, and they'll probably even eat leftover pizza crusts. just make sure you clean out the cage at least a few times a year if you want him them to breed

The point of this thread;

Stingrays, just like Ligers, are specialized animals that take a large amount of time, thought, money, and effort.


Sadly, people buy Stingrays with No prior knowledge of how to take care of it.. "It's just like a fish!"

It makes me wonder, would people buy Ligers with No prior knowledge of how to take care of it..? "It's just like a feline!"

So yeah I decided rays are fun but not exciting enough, so I am getting a Liger..

My 'Big Illegal Cat' Store has a Liger in stock, and I am picking it up this Friday.. already paid for it.

I've had cats before, I bred a Siamese once.. but maybe Ligers are different? Can you tell me everything there is to know about a Liger? Like.. what kind of food it eats, how big it gets.. stuff like that. I have some purina cat chow here so I was going to start it off on that until I can find a good book on Ligers.

oh yeah and I have a 6x12' dog kennel for my Liger, this is the biggest my apartment could hold.. will this be good for my Liger for life?

and 1 more thing how do you sex a Liger and will it breed in my dog kennel?

No I think you liger will be fine in a 6x12 kennel! Just remember to change his water bowl once a month and to feed him every other week.
