One week ago vs today . I don’t see a single white spot any where on the fish . He got his shiny coat back , idk that from the api stress coat or it’s just normal getting healthy . Note little more red .I will continue doing 88F temp and salt with 25% water change every day for another week .
then slowly turn down the temp each day until 82 F . And cut back on the salt . And change water every 3 day . Then every week and make it as a normal water change every Saturday .
feeding small amount of nls cichlid . On the mean time Order a nls ultra red + algaemax . Will feed him that in 2 week . Let him completely 110% recovery . Hopefully get some of his super red pop back .
Bucket and siphon will be throw away after next week , I don’t want clean with bleach and for being new , I’m not taken any chance using wrong amount of bleach and hurt the fish .
all air line hose and temp gauge and anything that turn blue will be replace .
for my future AND I HOPE I never have to do this again . But for my future plan . I will treat in a smaller tank . 75 gallon and change 20-24 gallon water every day . Carry 5 gallon bucket to the bathroom and dump . Then using a 2.5 gallon bucket to fill . Took me about 1 hour and 30 min each morning for last 7 day . Really take a beating lol . Anyway see my fh getting better is give me joy .

How often do you guy do water change on regular schedule for fh ? Myself whenever I see poop . I want it out
if I do 10% every day . What water condition y’all using ? I’m using api stress coat for 75 gallon . That 4 full cap . It go thru a lot .
