I got him from http://www.richbeasley.com/ great guy to deal with answered all my questions. I forget what cross he is...but eh, I love his color anyways. Not to hijack the thread, but here are a few more pictures.

Roommate issues, squabbling over the power bill and whatnot...nothing reptile related. Sometimes real life can be a bummer.

I do want to eventually get hima gf...but since he is almost two years old, I'd have to find an older female, or wait till I raise a female to the proper age
 
You will find that you end up taking tons of pics...they sleep in odd positions and do crazy things alot too.

P.S. I wouldn't feed anything that you catch outside...might have harmful parasites. I would start off with just crickets and light vegetables. After a few months you can give a meal worm or two a week. Then closer to 7-8 months, switch to dubia roaches. they have a higher protein amount, and you dont have to feed as many as you would crickets.
 
Too add to the above, any thing caught outside could also have pesticides in them
 
i live out in the woods lol not to worried about pesticides but dont intend on catching anything for him to eat

he is actually a young adult i think lol he is 16 inches head to end of tail... still got some growing to do but not to much
 
Just crious but if he open his mouth while setting under his heat lamp what he saying

I kno from reading about them all actions mean something
 
Its means he is too hot and trying to cool down
