Was wondering how one would do in my tank? I have a Oscar, ebjd and 2 frontosas in a 100 gallon tank. Would it be a problem if I added a bgk?

If by bgk you mean black ghost knife(sorry, new to the abbreviations on here) as long as you provide him with a place to hide it shouldn't be a problem. They may have a hard time getting food due to the cichlids being way more aggressive though.

i have had and did have till 10min ago oscars with bgks...no problems...the key is when feeding give the oscar(as it will more then likly be first in line) a chunk of food just to big to swallow all the way...then the pit is occupied so you can feed the other fish....thats what i do and it works well...

Ya I went ahead and got the bgk and everything is fine they were all by each other and nothing happened. I also got a ghost house for it

Just remember that you need to keep a close eye on them for a couple of weeks or so. They may look like fine now, but once things are settled, the Oscar could consider the BGK as a potential threat and attack it.

dont mix it with those Cichlids....i had one with a yellow lab and it used to nip its fin...oscar is fine though....i guess it depends on the sizes of the Cichlids and the BGK....how big are they?
