oh and btw my Armatus is now about 17-18"...

Man, pics pls:D
As for my Armatus, he is pretty melow (KNOCK ON WOOOOOD!!). The Goliath is the one rushing him more but here and there the Armatus will bump fish out of his way. He tends to follow who ever is swiming closest to him and usually it is the Gold Wolf. My Geos dont even bother him and he dont bother them.
I have to beleive that cause I got him at 1.25" and have kept him growing with quite a lot of diff fish that he is not as aggressive as we hear from Armatus. He has no casualties as of now. The smallest fish I kept with him was a 3"+ Orino when he was 7-8" (Orino still in grow out tank). I also have him with a 6" Aro and no worries, dont even pay no attention to him just like the Geos.

A fire eel should do we'll in your tank there not agressive they love worms and usually eat shrimp

you will need to watch for aggression from some of your tank mates and watch the pleco as it may try to suck the slime coat off of your eel

Yeah Im ganna pass on him. Another thing I had to consider is having to change/add foods. I dont want to change or run around looking for foods that my fish now eat. Thanks

Smokin...here is some pics of my Armatus and his now/past tankmates

you would also need more sand for the eel to burrow in. 100 lbs in an 8' tank is too thin for that purpose

Nice pics! That's dope they all get along so well I hope that keeps going for ya. Mine seems to be overly territorial for sure and it has only gotten worse (or better depending on how you look at it :) ) with age and size. When he was smaller I had him in with a much larger Pacu who was the one that ruled the tank. I didn't see the agression until after I pulled the Pacu out and he became the largest bully left. Then he went on a killing spree and doubled his size in a month or so from like 5" to 10". Luckily you already have yours in the 300g so he has room...when all this happened mine was still stuck in a 125g while I was searching for my 240 he is in now.

I'll try and get some pics up soon it's been a while since I did a photo shoot. :)
