Thinking about ordering a ray from Sean L(snakeskin) thoughts?

I just saw the ones you are looking at in aqua bid and they look great. If you are interested then have him send a few pics and a video of it eating. Make sure he lets it purge for a couple of days before he ships it. This goes for any ray that is going to be shipped.

Do yourself a big favor and stick with buying from the proven hobbyists on this forum. Lots of good people to choose from.
 
Where's Ewurm when you need him??!! Find a local MN member and see if someone will swing by and see the ray in person. I know there are a few on here still up in that area.
 
The question (to my mind at least) isn't whether or not this particular ray is healthy or whether this guy has ever managed to deliver healthy rays-- I'm sure he has... The issue is whether or not you want to be dealing with someone who has shown time and time again that they have no problem lying and screwing people over. Personally, I make it a principle not to deal with folks who have a track record of screwing people over.

I've read stories of people receiving rays that were dull, unhealthy, and not the ray they thought they were getting. Is that this guy? I think the concern should be getting the correct ray if it is Shawn who sends different fish.

This guy is great.....so i emailed sean

I said " I'm going to be blantanly honest. Ive read some mixed reviews about getting rays shipped from you so I am a bit hesitant. Can you please send me some more pics and maybe a video of it eating?"

His response

"Everyones always gotten what I said they would and what they ordered. What ihave listedfor pics is it."

Super business man.
