I have shipped young marbled crayfish many times with 12+ in a kordon breather bag, about 32 ounces of water, a bit of java moss and nearly no air with no major losses (meaning almost always the 12 would get there).
The crayfish I am thinking about selling now was moved from my main tank to a 10 gallon to hatch out but then didn't get moved back to the main tank. That was about a month or so ago and now she is berried again! I have a few young ones that are much bigger than I usually ship out getting bigger by the day and will have many berried crayfish soon so I'm thinking about selling my berried crayfish starting with the largest.
Takes 4 days for the eggs to be bonded to the swimmers strong enough to not fall off (or so I've read in posts about "stripping" eggs) which will be in another 4 days. Do you think the kordon breather bag is a wise choice when shipping an adult crayfish? I don't have any other bags on hand at the moment.
