thinking of an african setup any occupant ideas?

decided will have three odoe pikes, 2 syno catfish, possibly one mbu puffer, and 1 flatnose or giraffe catfish. but would a bichir or two be okay, and are there any relatives of the elephant nose that's easier to feed/

I was thinking of starting up a pretty large African setup and already know im going to get three odoe pikes, one or two synodontis catfish same size as the pikes, as well as a flatnose or giraffe catfish. but wat other fish could I keep, and wat are some cool African plants I could put into the setup? Also would an elephant nose be an okay occupant?

you mean the odoe? I will most likely purchase from an online vender or when ever my lfs gets odoe in they are quite large

Elephant nose aren't really THAT hard to feed. I have had 3 at different times in my fish keeping history and 2 of them ate pretty much right away... (Flakes, bloodworms etc.) and the 3rd one only took 3 days. Feed with lights out. And they also eat secretively... U probably will not SEE them eat but they are... After a month or 2 they become less shy... But for sure 1 per tank.... Also a few bichirs would work IMO...

ok cool I plan on feeding fish frozen silversides, massivore pellets, frozen clams and mussels on half shell(for mbu puffer) but wat would elephant nose eat?
