Hmmmmm.... Im not sure if they have been bred succsesfully but i do know you will probably need a huge tank. Good Luck.

species of wolf your trying to breed? hoplias or non true wolf?

i dont think this has ever really been done if it has it was probably in a big tank

SOrry...Never heard of any Wolffish breeding...Sort of reminds of the time when I was looking for info on breeding Rhoms....Good luck...

hoplias's have been rarely bred in captivity, i know mala's have at least, i'm not postivive for the rest, rarity is mainly due to aggresion, and not alot of people are willing to risk it with larger more expensive wolfs, like goliaths or lacerdae.

Hoplias malabaricus has been bred before, at least by a member on Arofanatics.com. You'd probably need a 5ft tank and low pH and lots of food to prevent self-annihilation of the pair.

o i thought u would need a bigger tank then that i guess not but i guess i was wrong and now i kno they can be breed
thnx hercrenvie
