thinking of getting a black aro

My LFS finally got in 2 stunning black aros around 8-13 inches ,and want some input to wether i sould get one. The tanks size is only 70 gallons right now *sniff sniff* tank mates would be an oscar and a sting-ray and once they out-grow it(i know i only got like 3 months untill ide have to upgrade in that thing) which would all get maoved into a 180+ gallon for all three.

(and this is off topic but i guy i know got a golden dorato and has the poor fish in a 20 gallon)

what happened to price on black. they were at $50 a couple years back with silver being in the $20s range. price has probably double for silver since but it's more like 4x the price now for black.

Yes I agree, the price is a bit on the high side. Here in Toronto they are go from 200-250 for about 8-10 inches. Yours are a bit bigger, however I would not pay the extra 200 for length that you can add yourself in about a months time. Might be better off buying an Panda Gold for cheaper =)

Its tough ,coz the store its at is having a 25-75 % discount on all stock ,and the aro is regular 600
