Thanks everyone for the advise. with my jardini I do plan to get him a larger tank in the next year and yea im not too sure if im going to get the silver now I dont want to risk any fishes that i have or the silver to get in a crazy battle. There is a tank i have in mind that I have that I can put him in but if i decide that i would have to set everything up for it im not sure what size exactly it is but its very large.

no problem, arowanas and cichlids go along fine...especially silvers. He has enough size and can take care of himself. Afterall, arowanas tower over all other fish...check out the video on this section of the forum of a guy who has 3 giant RTC's with a foot long aro!
