my dad was on about the viewing window ill think ill have 1 then all i have 2 do is get some 1 two fit it i think the pond will be concreat bassed so im sure they can do it

Wels catfish are the same whether its England, France, or on the Ebro river in Spain. Same species so they all grow to behemoth sizes no matter where they were caught initially.

yup the genetic potential is still there, but you never know exactly how big it will get with a fish like this.

Hi there my lake has 70 catfish in. the biggest being 67lb 4.0 oz. and carp 44lb. i often get offered the wels catfish, tis funny, a month or so ago i was after wels. got my license and have 70. dont want to say how much they cost. i'll concede it was 00.000 the big ones alone were more than several hundred, i have been offered another 4 wels catfish but are VERY small.. 10-15 inch. if you are interested PM me, but you must have the license, OR are 100% commited as i dont want any come backs incase they get into the river system! cheers adam
