Any idea how old your guy might've been when he died? Just curious, since there really do not seem to be any longevity records for this species in captivity.
Any idea how old your guy might've been when he died? Just curious, since there really do not seem to be any longevity records for this species in captivity.
Mine was bought January 4 1997 at 2.1 inches/5.3 cm for $19.99 at Pets Plus Lockport NY (Fred & John). He died January 25 2011 and was measured at 18.5 inches/47 cm.
This one was a slow grower when compared to the two I still have, both of which are fairly similar in size yet are both only in the 2 1/2 to 3 year old range
