To say anything First Im a Turtle person.
Im looking at Getting a Few Chameleons for the House. I plan on Just getting them a big Cage for the Corner of the living room so they can see everything thats going on.
Do they work well together (I guess males cant be? What about females?) ?
I d know they dont require tons on maintenance but I plan on Opening there Cage and make a Out of Cage enclosure outside in the Shade when Im cleaning Kikis pond or hanging around outside.

Need some Suggestions
What are good For Chameleons, personality wise or Work well together with others)

I might just buy breeder chamelons. If they already get along

idk if pygys are the best... They require alot of special care and are quite hard to keep. What about a veiled :D?

veileds are or seemed to me to be the toughest as far as being hardy.Diet is EXTREMELY important with cams. Also, most like to be left alone and stress if they know you can reach up and grab them so not sure on a cage in a loud high traffic room.Im brainstorming here, lol.

Just curious if you guys think this is a fair price for this package???

That seems like a good price to me, however I think you would definitely have to upgrade the size of the cage eventually. I had a Veiled as my first chameleon and his cage was 24" L x24" W x48" H.

Veileds are very nice and not too expensive. Mine was a pig and ate pretty much any insect I put in there (crix, waxworms, mealworms). He didn't like when I did a lot of work on his cage and seemed to get stressed out a bit. He certainly did not like to be handled at all.

I've always liked Panthers, but they are very pricey and I hear they are not the best choice for beginners. I have never personally had one, just speaking from what i've read.

Good Luck.

My cousin just bought a vield and is very happy got him and the setup for 100 bucks ( 50$ for the vield)

very nice looking and he lets him climb in his back yard in the trees ( ok for chams checked on keepingchams.com)

but in a high traffic area i would think it would strees them out, and more then one in an enclosre isnt good unless its females together breeders dont even keep the male and female together..

I would advise against letting them in a tree out side.Do I need to explain?I wouldn't think so,lol.

its not a big tree, its a plant plant in a pot cant spell the name so wont try,and he has a circle screen thing that goes around the whole thing its for natural uv which is way better then any bulb, you know 2 hours in real sun is way better then a week of uvb bulbs, need i explain?

only thing he has tp worry about is over heat of the lizard thats why he has a mister

pohtos? it hink that what it is, and palmeras only a lil bit on those cause when the cham grips it will punch lil whole in the palmera therefore draw milk which is bad for the chams eyes!
