Thinking of Gibberosa/Frontosa tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The reef tank has had few survivors so I'm shutting it down and moving forward on the gibberosa tank. After reading all the input I am staying with the plan. With the larger rocks going in I can create territorial divisions and some hiding spaces. The bigger tank and frequent water changes may facilitate faster growth. We shall soon see. My lighting may not be quite as dim as I had planned but that's short term. Longer term I'll get some other lighting to go on the tank. I have 2 - 80w T5 HO's on it right now and it's pretty bright.

Sorry for your loss on the reef tank, thats rough. Glad that you are planning to still get your fronts though, I think you will enjoy them. Keep us updated on how it goes and post some pictures once you get it set up and get the fish in it. I am not sure where you plan to get your fish, but look for breeder if you can.

thank you :)

I am looking for a breeder to buy them from. I've located one but they don't have any right now. I have been presented with the option of buying a colony of 6 adults. Hopefully something will come together over the next week or 2. Being patient though (not easy) lol
