algee is not a problem its a natural occurance.If algee didnt grow in your tank, then you have a problem. You just have to manage it.
Thinking of going the sand route... advice?

I just changed my tank to sand...bought mine from my local lfs my geos love it...whenever i do any tank maintenance i shut off all my filters to prevent sand clogging them---sand looks 100% better imo
