You made no reference to that whatsoever so how would anyone know?

So whats the footprint of a 5' 100? As I mentioned I've never seen 5' tanks so no sure of the different footprints. It just seemed the most obvious reason to stay with a certain length tank.

To my knowledge, the 100 and 120 footprint is 60x18 and there is a 5x2 150.

Interesting. The 120 I'm familiar with is 4x2x2.

Yes the 4x2x2 is a more common version of the 120. I actually had the 120 (60x18). My local petsmart normally has the 60x18 120 on display for sale.

Thank you everyone for your comments. the reason i am upgrading is I want the deep and bigger for more fish and they can swim in front or back of the tank. And about the 5' footer, i have no more space to expand that way, only can expand in deep and height. I guess, 150G is the max for 5 footer. unless it's custom built.

build it yourself. you could do like a 5 by 5 by 5 cube:)

wish i can afford new custom made tank 5x5x5. I have to keep looking and wait. Hopefuly someone has 5 foot long and at least 2 foot deep and 180G. Don't want to upgrade to 150 and then 180, not worth.
