thirty gallons!?

You could keep them in the thirty while they'll still small. If I remember right the gost glass catfish get to be 2 to three inches. Double check me on it, but for some time that should be enough. I keep my 7-8 inch knifefish with Buenos Aires tetra's and young Bosemani's and everything's fine. These fish are active schoolers (I think the catfish like to be kept in groups also) and all about 1.5 inches.

Cool! if this helps.

IMO, I'd rather keep glass catfish for a 30g and save the cash for a bigger tank instead of picking a BGK. Bottomfeeder, you have other options to pick, not just a BGK.

liveaquaria, and sites like it probably provides a tank size for the size of the fish they sell, not the size of a tank for a full grown fish. Besides, theyre trying to make a sale. So their info is a little biased.

oh and also glass cats are awsome
but they need to be in schools
if its one per tank they die of stress
ive tried it 3 times before and its true
