In like em. I specifically the white one. No matter how many exotic species are out there I always have to have an Oscar.

Yea I totally agree I've kept many different cichlids and other exotics, and by far oscars are the most personal. They mope.. Beg.. And interact with there owners who they reconsize

My oscars bred 2 days ago, this morning I took te eggs and put them in a 15gallon wide tank..filled with the tank water the eggs were layed I moved them without letting them leave the water. I put a heater to keep same temp and a air pump with the without stone with the line pointed at eggs. Will get pics when home

To get "top notch quality" you need to cull. Out of any given spawn, or breeding, there will be poor, and medium, and high quality offspring - that's just part of nature and genetics.

It also depends on what traits you consider to be top quality - some of us like bright red, some of us like washed out / pastel, like yours, etc - so there's not really a measuring ruler for quality other than what you are looking for in a fish.
