Thank you.. i love those cockatoos too but keep in mind that they can scream at the top of their lungs.. while my african gray just talks like you have another little person.. too many cockatoos end up going through many homes because of their yelling behavior.. but i love her.. and you just have to learn tricks to minimize it.. :D Thank you Hawkfish!;)
Yeah, I'm aware of their "screaming". The lady that owned the LFS where I used to live had a beautiful male named Gabby. I was just about the only person who he would sit on besides her. She finally had to take him to her house because one day he climbed down off of his perch and chased a 7 year old girl through her store, screaming at the top of his lungs with his hood and wings fully flared. The little girl was scared to death! I laughed! Was that wrong of me? :D

Poor Slash... he did not look happy... you have a huge yard.. i can see big fish pond in my thoughts as i look at it.. :D I just bought a Tiger Knife..just got home so i have to find info on him.. impulse buy.. took him before the LFS even had a chance to take him out of the bag..:screwy:

Oh I've thought of ponds for the yard but I don't really want to stay here much longer, the properties nice but the house is OOOOOLD, built in the early 40's, not much room for fish tanks and definatly no big ones on the mainfloor, supports would crack in an instant lol.

There's also a creek/river about 5 minutes walking distance from here, fish come through there for spawning, it's pretty cool.

Can usually catch some good sized garter snakes in the field too :)

Here's a pic of my chilean rose hair's molted skin

Is this the fish you picked up Liz?

If so CONGRATS! that's a beauty of a fish, I've never seen or heard of them before. My store had a batch of what appeared to be royal CK's last week but they weren't in the best of shape and the majority of them croaked.

Thanks, it's just the one right now, that's her shed skin from a couple years back. It's amazing the way they shed, everything goes including the fangs. If you get the skin out fast enough before it hardens you can sort of pose it. I had this skin for about 6 months until it somehow fell off my desk and got crushed and it's just been bad luck since trying to keep a shedding from her or the pinktoe. Planning on getting 3 more tarantulas, a cobalt blue, a goliath bird eater, and an ornate from sri lanka. Just a matter of tracking them down and finding room for the enclosures.
