pollock is good ass fish too, and it is cheap as hell. tilapia is cheap as well. go to the fish market or what not and try different fish. i dont like fishy tastin fish.hahahah. but i love some fish. blue or channel cats are great eatin. most central american cichlids, and most cichlids period are fairly mild tasting fish and they are pretty firm and if cooked right i guarantee youll like them. anyways, youd have to eat a **** load of fish to get enough mercury in you to do harm. im sure most people here would suffer from any other numerous malladies other than mercury poisoning. im sure the good outweighs the bad IMO

CM U should start breeding Flowerhorn for food. Tell us if the special hybrids taste any better. LOL!

takes too damn long to get em to size. but thats what people should do with their culls, just raise em till they are big enough to eat. im sure FH's would taste about the sme as any of the others ive tried. never know though, maybe itll taste even better. i better start lookin for a nice sized FH that someone doesnt have room for anymore and ill let ya guys know for sure. hahaha.

pollock doesnt taste fishy to me. maybe its my taste buds. who knows. tilapia is the bomb for freshwater and halibut is bomb for salt

I like pan fried Mackarel. Fried Milkfish is good too. Then dip the flesh in vinegar with garlic cloves. Yum!

never tried mackrel other than one drunken night fishing when i used the catfish bait as food myself. not too fond of raw mackrel nowadays. maybe ill have to try it cooked. whats the recipe TRUST

Nothing special just pan fry. I love the salty taste of the flesh.
