there good cimbers it should have no problem climbing that drift wood i would put up some kind of netting on the side or somethin so if it climbs high it doesn't fall off and hit the floor

thanks for the info, i guess if it falls on the floor, my dog may have a snack:WHOA:

I found 1 of my crabs on the bottom floor of my house once.

Quite impressive as it made it all the way out of the tank (which i had attempted to block up) across my bedroom, out of the door and across the hall.

past where the cat sleeps and down a flight of stairs!

I used to chuck mine fresh ham and they seemed to love it, it was funny watching a fish swim with some ham in its mouth with a crab attached the other end!!

It's a tiny Les Stroud! He must've been watching Survivorman the night before the big breakout! I would cover the tank tho. Did he really survive on CRICKETS?

haha yeah that's what the guy told me.

btw, he escaped awhile ago, like a few days after i got him. and hasn't been seen since. stpid thing lol. i put a net, but he pulled it down...gr...lol sneakt little critter

Speaking of cool finds, I was at my local store one day picking thru a pile of stone for my African cichlid tank at the time, and when I lifted the last rock there was a 1 foot long baby red tail boa underneath it. I could have easily put it in my pocket and walked out lol. But I gave him to the guys there and they gave me a 20$ store credit for finding it. Not a bad deal!

I got a couple of those patriot crabs. The first day i got them one escaped. My wife found him the next day in the kitchen in front of the fridge. Little fella must have been hungry. Yeah and the wife was not to impressed.

now THAT is what i call a good find. I googled Redtail Boa and I got a subspecies of the Boa Constrictor, Boa constrictor constrictor. But the picture looked more like the Peruvian Boa Constrictor. Are they the same thing?
