I haven't thought of putting ground pellets in my frozen food- that's diabolical! I'm going to try that for sure -they hit anything remotely resembling a frozen food cube and gobble it down before it get's stolen.

mine often doesn't eat, but when he feels like it he does. he's pretty skittish but when he's hungry he will get every last bite
