this gar make me confused

u been very helpful city_of_evil6661 by given me those info.
my gar still refuse to feed on market shrimp, what should i do to make the fish accept on dead food. i had try to staved the gar about 2 days, but stil wont work. any suggestion how to train the gar to accept on dead food?
can i feed the gar with mealworm?

i quarentine my feeders to prevent parasites and diseases. cuz my gars refuse frozen and prepared food as well.

hi, I also have 4 that look just like this one. Florida / spotted ?? How big can they get ? Right now they're between 4 and 7 inches.

hi, i also not sure either its spotted or florida gar. E_americanus told me that gar fish were hard to identify when they still young. in captivity, they able to grow about 20inch. maybe u can post their pic so somebody outhere can identify for u.
