if u guys are subscribed to aquarium magazine they have a great article about the convicts and y they breed so much if arent subscribed buy the i think its april issue of 2006 it is a great article
i had 2 convicts in my 48 with 6 gachua sh`s 1 albino senegalus 3 kribs and a real big pleco , the male is about an inch and a half and the female is about an inch
the convicts keept them well far away from thier free swimming fry for about a week , then I took all the fish out of the 48 except for the fry , then i put a big batch of flowerhorn fry in with them, I had every intention of raising the flowerhorn fry in the 48 not convict fry , convict fry are very good food for young and hungry flowerhorns its fun watching fry eat fry
