That's cruel! I have similar problem at LFS, there is one O, placo and some other cichlids in about 20gal, but at least water conditions are very good, it's very clean, also that O hasn't got any diseases and he has GREAT colors. He's probably at his max size.

I have seen this and worse. I was in one of my LFS and saw two Os that looked ALOT worse then this guy. one wasn't even swimming anymore he was sitting head down in the gravel TRYING to breath. and the other kept comming up to the top and would kinda just sit there. both had HITH BAD!!! and they were in tanks that had other fish. I told the people at the counter that it would more then likly be best if they went ahead and froze them and put them out of their suffering. She told me that that's more then lily what was going to happen come closing time. she said they were bring ins that the manager took but aperently didn't really look at before they took them in. poor poor fish.
