I have been using it for years now. Its hard to find but worth every penny. My whole collection loves it on there Jumbo sticks.

I will add been feeding feeders for the same amount of time and no problems. I believe Cichla need live as well to truly obtain there full potential. After 6 years officially this Oct I think a variety in there diet also consist of live feeders.

i have a question..can vita-chem be used with anything else besides tilapia? for example shrimp,frozen krill etc?

Yes, it is tissue soluble so it will absorb into pretty much anything. the bottle says you can add straight to the water and it will absorb into your fish, I wouldn't do that unless you want to spend a fortune because the dose is so high. Adding just to the food will make the stuff last.
