I'd always be painting in some slummy $400 a month 3 bedroom apartment i was living in.
He'd roll over with $40 rollers and brushes, pop in the door and be like "we're doing this the right way" and I would say "no, this place is a dump, i dont own it, I'm just trying to cover the holes people punched in the plaster and paint over the cigarette burns on the walls"
