You ain't wrong! They are distributed almost in all fresh water rivers here. Just planning to breed them commercially so em making research.
 
My senegal bichir was about 3200 Naira here in South Africa :)

Some restaurants in California have Asian Aro displayed openly at the entrance. One owner told me it is farm raised in Singapore with a certification chip in it.

Lovely! Have been thinking why a fish raised in a commercial farm becomes subject to government ristrictions if my fish meets the right conditions. Am planning of setting up a commercial African Arowana farm here in Nigeria and possibly exporting to Europe and America.
