THIS IS MY EBJD TANK SETUP & SUMP Give me some feed backs

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Really nice setup, but think the JDs would stand out more without the blue lighting. That sump looks very well organised..can you build me one lol

I want lights like that for an all leucistic ca tank with white con, white dempsey and albino bristle nose plec. Black background and substrate. Yea that sump is very nice also.

The tank is 75g flowing @800-900gph.. ProFlex sump Model 3.. 4 EBJD.. got all 4 fish same time.. Ranging 3"-5".. The blue light turns on at night and no light at all during the day..This way it helps keep slow algae growth.. I'm still very new to this forum and will try do a better job responding and communication.. As I listed.. I will probably sell one of my EBJD 3"-4" and keeping 5" just because im looking foward to breed and find BGJD mate. All the fish is finger feed and will fingers lock even with no food not shy at all.. CONTACT ME@ SMSSERVICE24@GMAIL.COM

the actinic lighting drowns out the potential contrast that an EBJD can provide... same as shining a red light onto a red apple...

sorry if it sounds harsh... just my quick opinion. but otherwise the decorations and size is great.

Very nice setup  I do agree with the comments above that the whole tank looks a bit too blue. You may have a better contrast with 6700k bulbs. I'm also not a big fan of slates. They are functional, but look artificial.

aha I see what you're going for. if you just have the blue light on at night, and natural second hand light during the day you may be missing some of the details on your fish. try a 6700k or a 10000k bulb, one bulb if you dont like it you can return it if you bought it at home depot or lowes.
