could not agree more. There is an atavistic fear of snakes that has no foreseeable cure.

I believe it to be connected to the snake, in the Garden of the Eden.

Even people that would not hurt a snake, could not care less if all of them disappeared.

And I am talking about good and decent people, here.

that's very true Miguel. in my case, my family isnt too fond of snakes, but they know i keep them and try to understand my love for them and they would be enraged if they hear of them getting killed senselessly and brutally.

I eradicate snakes that I can't identify as non-poisonous from my property. It's no different than having your house sprayed for roaches or spiders. I don't want any animals, reptiles, or insects hanging around that can make me or my family sick or dead. Call me selfish or whatever, but that's how I feel. I do consider myself to be more humane than most, and will try to end the life of the trespasser as painlessly as possible. If I know that there is a way I can catch or trap whatever it is thats bugging me without it getting too dangerous, then I will go that route and release it in a more secluded area of the property.

i won't even kill poisonous snakes on my property. i will however call someone that handles them and have them removed so i don't have to worry about my dogs.

Here's the same guys doing a mass littering... :screwy:

If I called Billy the Exterminator every time I saw a snake, I'd be in debt up to my eyeballs. lol I live a little too far out for that.

well, I can't post here what I posted on that video but it wasn't pretty. What a shame.

What is it with teens, some of them bring to me a resemblance of having a empty watermelon for their skulls. Drunks. What's the difference between killing a snake and a pest, let's say a roach, on the lines of being cruel?

well for one, this snake was outside and not bothering them. I will kill spiders, roaches and ant in my home because of the threat they pose if they walk over/ defecate on my food. This was just wanton waste.

it is just a snake, have you ever been a kid before?

have you noticed, Keepinfish, that this thread is in the reptiles Subforum, ususlly visited, and cherished, by some morons that happen to like and care for snakes?

If snakes are indifferent to you, why bother to post in here?

I will not send this post of your's to the trash can only because I am partial to little kids as the one in the pix you added.

Everytime it hit the ground it made me cringe. That's cruel.

Makes me want to go to my friends, get his Black Mamba and stick it in this kids bed. I even put that as a response to the video (: hahaha

I'd like to show him how we beat people to pulps, my family style.
