I'm more curious how much each flight costs them in fuel... Since im guessing that cant be cheap neither getting a beast like that off the ground...

I think the fuel for the jets is probably still cheaper then normal gas for our cars. Let me see if I can dig up some large gas prop plane vids. Basically weedwacker engines up to 275cc motors on normal gas.
 
Oh yeah,very expensive all around.I'd like to know how much one of those planes cost..I've always wanted to get into RC helicopters myself.

It depends on what you want. Little foamies are fairly cheap nowadays. Fun to build to. Almost ready to fly planes about twice as much. Then up to scratch built and stick built planes can run into the thousands for gas. Jets I would suggest a second mortgage for one.

On a side note it is the most expensive lawn dart you will ever have lol.

What's a good guess on how much the topic plane cost?
 
Yeah,I figured those engines were quite costly...Awesome hobby though,I would have a replica of AirForce 1 and a few military planes.
 
I knew a guy who had a RC plane but not as big as that one. I think it cost around 2k. RC cars will cost a few hundred to get started but eventually become a money pit with constant parts breaking/upgrades.
