I was asked yesterday what i feed my bass etc and i shared just that. thought i would post it here.
What are yall feeding your bass? Do you also add vitamins to their food? and what do you use/add to your tanks when performing water changes?
Foods I feed All My Bass.
Frozen Foods -
Tilapia
Smelt
Shrimp
Hikari Frozen Krill
I cut them into smaller pieces and soak over night in Seachem nourish & Vita-Chem. I strain the excess juices before feeding.
Pellets -
Hikari Carnivore
Hikari Massivore
Hikari Food Sticks
Hikari Cichlid Gold
Also pre soak the pellets in Seachem Nourish & Vita-Chem
Last But Not Least,
Hikari Freeze Dried Krill. I don't soak this one in anything. Feed straight out of the can.
Water Changes Is Also Just As Important.
I do 2x Water Changes A Week. No specific percentage. Sometimes 20% sometimes 80% just all depends.
This is what i add to my water when i do water changes/weekly maintenance/dosage.
Seachem Prime, Seachem Cichlid Trace, Seachem Prestine (Once A Week), Kordon Fish Protector/Kordon Pond Fish Protector (Same as fish proctor, Just more concentrated), Vita-Chem (This can also be added directly to water). Seachem Clarity but thats just in case theres a water clarity issue but thats not to often.
