Besides starvation try to put some pellets inside the shrimps then maybe he'll get use to it then like the pellets by itself in due time.
 
hey dude... never heard of rinsing the worms... but does it work? wouldn't they die?

ive tried this

cant get em in and they just fall out.

what does seem to work though for me is to soften up some pellets, mush them into a dough or thick paste and use a food/flavor injector and inject it into a night crawler or earth worm, a sausage.

they dont die, superworms dont die that quick, i tried drowning them for 10 sec, and still wont die, there tough (even cutting them in half, there still alive).. u can try that, i learned that from cichlid savage!! tnx bro!!
 
Feed those worms with the pellets you wanna feed to the jar intinally. Then feed those worms to the jar. This is a kinda gut loading process which sometime I will adopt when I need to feed some supplements to my aros.:)
