I agree with ballinouttacntrol.if there's no one there to see it well its your storey they gota go by.
I feel for ya not having options to clean it up or get him to.agreeing with ballin is due to the fact if you confront him there is no telling how he might react.he could talk,throw a punch or just pull a gun like a idiot.
 
Do what we did in the olden days, just pick up the cans.

Very wrong sir. In the Lake Erie area of western new York I had someone pull a gun on me for being in the woods, never saw a plant or anything but I also had a gun (I was just shooting cans and stuff out in the Chattaqua area) and I pulled mine on him and he started questioning me, I was ready to piss myself. I don't know if it was some hermit living in the woods (huge area of wilderness I was in) or a grower but I must have scared him with the shooting and he came and investigated. After he was satisfied I wasn't up to no good me and him talked about fishing in the area and he was actually pretty cool.

Moral of the story: unless your armed, don't approach randoms in the woods. It could be anyone. Especially someone dumping garbage like that. If he wasn't a grower he more then likely was just a wanted criminal and was laying low. Most outdoor growers aren't the nice hippies from the movies. Their trying to get money and that's it.

Oh yeah and I was 16 at the time. I jumped behind a log as soon as I saw the dude walking up with a gun. If I didn't have my own gun I would have been pissing myself. I told my uncle what happened and he said he knew of the guy and I was lucky. I strayed off his land when this happened just exploring

Jesus this thread gave me a flashback to the anxiety of having a rifle pointing at me, and the hesitating shakiness of bringing up mine haha. Next time call the cops, its not like they won't go looking in the woods. I've gotten dumb kids who used to drink by this creek and throw all the bottles and cans in it arrested for it one time, I told em to stop or I'd do it and they kept on keeping on so massive fines for them.

How well can you throw a rock? :D If the answer is "very well" then ya get my drift. If not, then try other avenues. LOL

FWIW, I used to shoot beer cans out of the water with my fishing bow. The tubers thought it was cool until I told him to stop throwing them or their tube would be next. Word spread and I started seeing less and less "escaped empties".
