shrug, nothing new there, There well always be bad breeders, whither reptiles, fish, dogs, cats or the meat we eat. Long as we folks keep buying, it will always be part of the industry.

Is my steak done yet?

You think that's bad? Go work at a petstore and see how the general public take care of pets. In my experience, animal abuse is pretty common at most pet stores. Not just petsmarts or petcos. I have seen plenty of live, HEALTHY, animals tossed into a freezer at the pet store i worked at simply because we had too many already. Or because they were fighting with cage mates.

Welcome to the pet trade.

For you guys that are so offended by this video I encourage you do some reading about how products like tooth paste, mascara, detergent, etc etc are tested on animals. This video isn't too bad in comparison.

Ever see the video on brain testing on monkeys where they would implant devices straight into the head of the monkeys? I always wonder after the fact why I watch such cruel videos but I suppose it is good to be educated on what is/was happening/happened to animals so it can be avoided in the future.

The animal trade / animal testing is quite a cruel industry, Ill never understand why Homo sapiens think they are better than other animal species....sigh...

It sucks but all of you me included support this industry.

It's rough stuff, man. I've done a pretty good job at eliminating animal tested products from my house. There is no reason for it. I mentioned it because it's easy to complain about petstores and it's easy to not buy animals from certain stores. But if you really want to make difference, you gotta do a bit more than nothing.
You're preaching to the choir. People have this sense of self entitlement as if their lives are so much more valuable. Last time I checked humans run pretty slow considering their size. They also can't fly. Or spend much time under water.
We quickly forget how life on earth is the only life we know about in the whole universe. And believe me, we won't be exploring the cosmos looking for intelligent life anytime soon. Considering how unique life is to the planet and how intelligent we think we are, we sure do a good job and treating that unique life like absolute ****.

Why do these threads always take a human bashing route. If people are so against this why stay in the hobby. No matter how you cut it we all aupport this industry wether you shop and petsmart or petco or not

I know humans are also capable of building nuclear reactors. It's not all negatives. But then again, humans also chain smoke cigarettes. Only species on the planet to willingly kill itself lol.

Anyways, watch more videos related to animal cruelty. That one isn't too bad.

Sorry but these statements are a load of bs. Humans evolved to be persistence hunters, not be sprinters, yes the cheetah can out run me for 30 seconds but at the 45 second mark I'll be able to catch up and pass it.

I can hold my breath for just over 4 minutes under water or roughly 75 yards under the surface, with the world record being 22 minutes.

Yes we can't fly naturally. But there's no animal in the real world that can fly, run persistently, and swim well. But we have been able to figure out how to fly artificially. Has any other species come close to that?

Let's stop down playing our achievements as a species.
