This Is Where PetSmart Gets Its Animals, And It's Not Pretty

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I know humans are also capable of building nuclear reactors. It's not all negatives. But then again, humans also chain smoke cigarettes. Only species on the planet to willingly kill itself lol.

Anyways, watch more videos related to animal cruelty. That one isn't too bad.

Surprisingly other species of primates smoke tobacco/cannabis once they learn how and can develop addictions.

I'm going to defend these places.

It's stupid to believe they will spend thousands of dollars on these animals just to let them die. That makes zero business sense and they will be shortlived. While it's true they may try to cut corners to save some money. They are not willingly going to let them die. We all know PETA will try to twist things and make everything look bad.

The link was most likely showing less then 1% of all their stock. What about the other 99%? Anyone who has spawned fish in their tanks knows deaths occur.

As far as the Human vs animal thing. I've never kept it a secret that Humans are far superior. I do agree that we should not abuse animals (ants just as much as dogs) but I'll pick a human over an animal anyday.

wow, this thread took a turn, IMHO its a mistake to try to remove our selves from what we are, we are invasive, predatory, aggressive and territorial animals. While we are the only species aware of our selves, capable of abstract thought, this does not change the nature of the animal.

a little egotistical, but that's a large part of a large part of humanity too.

Self awareness and complex thought are two different things.
“Self-awareness” refers to the capacity to become the object of one’s own attention. It occurs when an organism focuses not on the external environment, but on the internal milieu; it becomes a reflective observer, processing self-information. The organism becomes aware that it is awake and actually experiencing specific mental events, emitting behaviours, and possessing unique characteristics. A language-competent creature may thus verbalize “I feel tired,” “I’ve been working for three hours,” or “I am a good-looking, intelligent person.”
Thanks for the articles.
