if he needed it you would not hesitate i am sure.. it is a very small needle.. hardly notice the prick when your throat is closing.. just do it.

I'm glad it wasn't too bad it could've turned out a lot worse. The swelling is slowly starting to go down still hurts a lot. Trying to do tank maintenance with one hand sucks
