Are asian arowanas cheap over in Lao PDR? Brilliant fishes. I soooo wanna' get an asian arowana as well but i need to buy a 6 footer first to make sure when the fish is bigger it has an adequate home.

Same price as in Sing ... plus cargo charges - i got mines directly from Sing (MFK vendor). There are also dealers here but they get theirs from Thailand who in turn get them from Sing, Malaysia and Indonesia.

i have seen certificateless greens over here - may be some one is breeding them or something

If thats the case try and give him a dark background, Leave the lights off in his tank and maybe close the front window blinds..... Im sure he will be up and swimming in days bro. I had a super red in a tank by a door and he hated it there.... too much traffic beside his tank, so i put paper on the side facing the door and 2 days later he was up again.

For a possible quick and easy fix try throwing in the tiger datnoid with him, he be be feeling insecure by himself all of a sudden.

Beautiful arowanas by the way. Read your putting up back ground, hope you do the side and back, that will make him more secure imo.

Perhaps you can covince dad to do whats best for the fish so it does become a my way versus your way situation. Good luck.

Interestingly enuf opportunity presented itself to move XB back into the silver comm tank cos BBXB was being harrased by HBRTG (was getting serious - damage on scales and cowed completely). so now XB is with BBXB and both are happy. HBRTG is by himself in the front tank - not shy and swimming around - win win

Yeah, no point pissing father off - he always means well it is just that what he thinks is best is not necessarily best for the fishies

PS: the doggie (mu mu) is legendary - the other day she did the twisting dance on her back (i wish i had an iphone to film it) - smart and sweet
