Ouch! That really sucks. I've heard of a few males rays getting their claspers chewed on by a FRT but never see a ray chewed that bad. really sorry for your friend's loss.

thats such a shame. there has been a few threads on here about soft shells and they are very aggressive when larger.

i still like them its just you cant keep anything with them and have to be careful putting your fingers near them :D

sorry for the loss but glad the turtles still getting some love. they are just doing what they think they should at the end of the day.
 
That is right mate you can't blame the turtle. Such a shame she turned like that though. I am so glad i listened to all the advice on here and sold her when i did. That could have been one of my BD!!
