Look at this GT I got a couple of weeks ago. I think it is a female but look at how her body is deformed by being kept in a 10 gal tank. The second photo is of my male that is in the same tank.

Keep in mind these fish are the SAME SIZE except for the length of the tail.

Perfect example of why you want to keep fish in the right size tank. That deformed female doesn't look any where near as nice as she could have looked if the old owner had housed her properly.

She is better looking now then when i got her.

Since she dosen't seem to be in pain I would never kill her and I agree that she might get better..... I know she will allways be deformed but I will use her to show people that you need the right size fish for the tank you have now.
